The biggest scam- along with the zero transparency we got upon taking up this cover for my mother, we got absolutely nothing in terms of cover for all medical requests. They push back on every single thing. They don’t cover the simplest of requests.Very quick to debit from my account but failed to help my mother when she was ill.This operation is poorly run and the consultants you engage with have no empathy.

I wish i could give a Zero star as it gets worse every timeI had hoped this would work but now I'm so disappointed in the service provided by Dischem reallyGave it the benefit of the doubt BUT no luck no one helps when you call the app is down for days and when you finally get through to the people they don't know what they doing as one will say one thing and another will say a total opposite some can help others ether transfer you or drop your callWhether you on premium or not service here is just a don't careeven when you ask to be called back no luckall that's done is money is taken and that's all

I looked into this because I saw an advert in the store, I was interested but then I decided to look at the reviews first. Until the challenges cited by the members here are sorted out by Dischem, I'm not adding this to my problems. This is not good at all, please look into these challenges. Dischem is generally a good store and my favorite.

Wow this is horrific reviews and here I wanted to sign up, I am rather very happy that I first read all the reviews before signing up.Dischem, you should really really think very hard about your service and your healthcare promises that you cannot keep. This is the worst reviews I've ever read on such a reputable company as yourself. I really don't mean to add fuel here but on a serious note, you need to either shape up or do not offer a service that you cannot deliver, especially when it is a paid service.

Am so disappointed and dissatisfied with the service rendered.Am paying the medical insurance for my brother and granddaughter.Firstly I feel the system not user friendly.It's difficult to make appointments especially seeing a dentist.My brother had flu and visited east gate discem to be seen.Imagine he was prescribed a cough syrup which he was told the the insurance does not cover.If it can't cover for such what else can it cover.Am so disappointed and dissatisfied. I've decided to stop the insurance with immediate effect.

Everytime I engage their service team they seem so determined to prove that their service levels can get even lower than the last time.I recently had an experience with an x-ray service provider that starkly highlighted the distressing level of unprofessionalism within Dischem's operations, an ordeal that not only strained my patience but also raised serious questions about their administrative competence. Initially, I was informed by the practice that my Dischem was not accepted, necessitating an upfront cash payment for the services rendered, with the assurance that I could subsequently claim the expenses from my medical aid insurance. Trusting in this process, I complied.However, the subsequent claim process with the medical aid insurance was fraught with inefficiencies and a lack of transparency, leading to a perplexing runaround that tested the limits of my forbearance. Despite my diligence in providing all necessary documentation, including proof of payment and my banking details as requested, Dischem made the incomprehensible error of remitting the reimbursement directly to the service provider, effectively paying them twice for a single service.Compelled to resolve this oversight myself, I contacted the service provider to secure a refund—an endeavour that, while eventually successful, should not have been my responsibility. This resolution was short-lived, as Dischem later informed me of a reversal of the claim due to incorrect coding—a revelation that only added insult to injury.This entire episode serves as a fine illustration of the unacceptable levels of incompetence and lack of professional integrity within the insurance process. It begs the question of how an establishment entrusted with managing individuals' health-related financial matters can exhibit such a profound disregard for professional standards. The ordeal not only imposed unnecessary financial and emotional strain but also diminished my trust in the efficacy and reliability of their services.They never pay anything in full no matter how small it is even if prescribed by their network doctors. Do not sign up for this scam. Rather pay more and get better service. Oh, I almost forgot the cherry on the cake : I had an online consultation with a doctor who prescribed a drug that was out of stock so the pharmacist called them to get the doctor to change the drug...The virtual clinic people indicated they don't have their doctors' direft numbers so they would have to leave a message and wait for the doctor to read the message on the app. Seriously?!😂😂 At that point I knew I was dealing with a ponzi scheme. They can't even get hold of their own doctors.Do yourself a favour...run from this company.
