Dentistry

Through Network Dentists, you can access:

• 1 Consultation for a full mouth examination.
• 1 Preventative treatment which includes cleaning and scaling, and polishing for children under 12 years.
• Cover for restorative treatment like fillings, extractions and X-rays.
• Treatment for pain and sepsis.
• Cover for emergency root canal procedures.

Optometry

You and your family can access the following benefits at a network optometrist

• Annual eye examination
• One pair of glasses every 24 months

Medication

Scripted Medication:
You have unlimited cover for scripted medicine (short-term medicine) if it is on our Medicine List

Chronic Medication:
Covered on the Chronic Medicine formulary at 100% of the agreed rate for 7 conditions including:

• Asthma
  
• Diabetes
• HIV (see HIV Programme section for details)
  
• Hyperlipidaemia (high cholesterol)
• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Over-the-counter Medication:
Covered at 100% of the agreed rate if recommended by a pharmacist and collected at a network pharmacy.
